Australian Oak is a highly versatile and visually appealing hardwood that is a blend of three different eucalyptus species. This mix results in a unique timber that boasts a beautiful range of colors, from pale straw and cream to soft pinks and light browns. Its consistent and attractive grain structure, along with the timber's strength, makes it a popular choice for both flooring and other interior applications.

The straight grain pattern and fine texture make Australian Oak ideal for staining or finishing with natural oils and polyurethane, due to it's pinkish tones it should not be lightened. It readily accepts finishes, allowing for customisation to match any décor—whether a natural look is preferred, or the timber is stained darker for a more contemporary feel.

Native to the southeastern parts of Australia, these trees grow in tall forests, reaching heights of up to 90 meters with straight, cylindrical trunks. Australian Oak is moderately dense and known for its durability and strength, making it an excellent choice for residential and commercial flooring, as well as for furniture and other joinery work.

While Australian Oak is naturally durable, it also maintains a level of flexibility that makes it easy to work with. It has a good balance of strength and hardness without being difficult to machine or install, which makes it ideal for a variety of uses.

Due to its strength and aesthetic appeal, Australian Oak is favored by architects, builders, and homeowners alike, particularly for those seeking a high-quality and elegant timber that can stand the test of time.
